A Different Path Forward

4:13 Strong gives young men the structure, accountability, workforce training, and community they need to break destructive cycles and build stable lives. From the first test of Mental Toughness Week through employment and graduation, every step is designed to help men grow into responsible workers, present fathers, and dependable leaders in their homes and communities.

Our Framework for Transformation

Lasting transformation takes more than a fresh start. It takes a steady place to live, trusted people to learn from, meaningful work to step into, and clear goals that move a man toward independence.

Residential

Men live on campus during our 6-8 month program. We’re involved in their daily lives, and create a safe, supportive environment for them to live and learn.

Life Skills

We train men on essential life skills, including financial literacy, work readiness, and Bible study. We also organize service projects and adventure outings.

Employment

Men get the vocational training they need to start a new career, with an opportunity for full-time employment and a steady paycheck after completion of the 40 Day Challenge.

Independence

We support men as they work toward saving an emergency fund and buying a car with cash, so they’re on their way to financial independence.

The Structure Behind the Change

4:13 Strong gives men a clear path from first commitment to lasting independence. Each phase builds on the one before it, testing their resolve, strengthening their character, preparing them for work, and helping them take practical steps toward the future they want.

  • 1. Tryouts: Mental Toughness Week

Mental Toughness Week is our version of tryouts and lasts five days. You’ll participate in physical and mental conditioning designed to push you outside your comfort zone and test your character. If you demonstrate the right effort and attitude, we know you have what it takes to be successful in the program. You can expect: physical training, team-building exercises, and a personal interview.

You’ll know on Friday of Mental Toughness Week if you are accepted into the program.

  • 2. 40-Day Challenge

The 40-Day Challenge starts immediately after you’re accepted to the program. You’ll be living on our campus in dorm-style housing. We provide food, transportation, and share the responsibility of chores and cooking. Every weekend, you’ll participate in a service project or adventure outing.

Each day, you’ll spend time in the classroom, participating in financial literacy, work readiness, construction skills, and Bible study classes. You’ll earn three construction-industry certifications and learn everything you need to know to get a job, manage your money, and be the best version of yourself.

  • 3. Get to Work

We help you secure a full-time job that pays well and has benefits with one of our Job Partners. Most of our guys have full-time employment after just eight weeks in the program.

You’ll be getting a steady paycheck, so you can work toward buying a car with cash and saving an emergency fund. You’ll have a new mindset and the confidence to clearly see the path to standing on your own two feet.

  • 4. Graduation

To successfully complete the program, men must have:

    • 4 months of continuous employment
    • Court fees and fines paid off
    • Driver’s license acquired or reinstated
    • Car and insurance purchased with cash
    • $1,500 emergency fund saved

You can do it. We’ll help you get there.
